In its effort to serve its tenants better, Cara Celine Dormtel decided to form its first Tenant Council (TC). The TC is meant to serve as the tenant body’s direct link to management, enabling management to respond to requests and suggestions much quicker and better. The TC will also be given a working budget to come-up with activities or projects that will enhance the dorm life of our tenants.
The TC was formed through an election held last 27-28 January 2014. An overwhelming voters turnout of above 80% of our tenant body turned-in their votes. The following winners will be serving their respective roles on the TC until the next elections:
PRESIDENT: KRISTEL VENTURINA
VICE PRESIDENT: KRIZZA VENTURINA
GIRL’S REPRESENTATIVE: JELMA DELIMA
BOY’S REPRESENTATIVE: THOMAS DE LUZURIAGA
SQUEAKY CLEAN: New bathrooms are underway for our tenants!
Renovations of the CCD Dorm bathrooms are currently on its way. The makeover of our dorm’s shower and water closet areas began late December of 2013. Included in the renovation process was the repair of the piping system and drainage system to improve the buildings plumbing network. New tiles have also been placed, as well as completely new fittings.
Repairs in the first floor are scheduled to be completed by the first week of February. The target date to move-in tenants from the 2nd and 3rd floors is set in the 10th of February 2014.
CCD would like to apologize to its tenants for the inconvenience the construction work related to this is causing.
